Mini Musicals
Written by, Directed by, and Starring Students of the Vandegrift Theatre Company Musical Theatre Class
Ms. Schneider's Musical Theatre class created their own original "mini-musicals." Each show was written and directed by the students themselves. Students had to choose 3 songs from a list of over 100 songs to include in their musical. Some groups even ventured out and wrote their own music! We hope you enjoy Vandegrift Theatre Company Musical Theatre's "Mini-Musicals!"

The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon

The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil's Grandmother and The Girl Without Hands. A wild, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun. Disclaimer: VHS Theatre is committed to safety above all else. Game of Tiaras

When the aging king of a Magical Kingdom (England) decides to split his empire between his three daughters, Cinderella, Belle, and the Snow Queen (who in no way resembles a copyrighted character), terrible tragedy ensues. Terrible, hilarious tragedy. Combining the gut-wrenching plot twists of Game of Thrones and the soul-numbing despair of Shakespearean tragedy, this adaptation of King Lear will leave you dying with laughter as the body count mounts. When you play the Game of Tiaras, you win or you die.

Joe’s Café Virtual Variety Show
Vandegrift Theatre Company presents “Joe’s Café Virtual Variety Show!” All skits are written, directed and produced by our amazing students! We even have a few famous faces from the hit TV show “The Office” and from Disney Channel that will be introducing some of our acts, as well as some singing talent and hilarious lip syncing from our very own Vandy kids!
