It all started in 2009...

Vandegrift High School opened its door in 2009, and the Theatre Department’s first production that year was the play Harvey, about a man and his best friend, a giant, and an invisible rabbit.

Today, the list of plays has grown, and VHS Theatre is the largest Performing Arts Department in the Leander Independent School District. VHS Theatre continues to grow and thrive under the guidance of our dedicated Teachers and Staff. The VHS Boosters are proud to serve The Vandegrift Theatre Company and to provide funding for all its shows.
