Vandegrift High School opened in 2009. VHS Theatre's first production that year was the play Harvey, about a man and his best friend, a giant, and an invisible rabbit.
Today, VHS Theatre is the largest Performing Arts Department in the Leander Independent School District. Having performed many more shows after Harvey, VHS Theatre continues to grow and thrive under the guidance of our dedicated Teachers and Staff.
